LAN9252 registers are not responding (craig_modbot)

I am having difficulty writing to multiple registers on the LAN9252. I am able to write to the AL EVENT MASK REGISTER (204h) and see the results of the write show up in the TwinCAT Memory view. However, when I try and write to other registers, for example..
